Roque Santa Cruz is happy to fight for his place at Manchester City Football Club.

The Paraguayan international has endured a frustrating season with injuries, and when he has been fit, he has found the likes of Carlos Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor keeping him out of the side.

Santa Cruz, though, insists he is perfectly happy to see his team-mates playing so well for the team, and has revealed he is happy to wait for his chance.

"They were doing so well," he told Sky Sports. "In terms of what we want for the club, I'm very happy to see Tevez scoring almost every game, and I'm very pleased to see Adebayor doing well.

“I want it to keep going that way so the team is as successful as we want it to be. That is just a part of it - seeing who is going to play - and it's going to stay that way until the end of the season."
