Mancini issues Manchester City warning
Roberto Mancini has told his Manchester City Football Club players they can’t afford many more slip-ups if they are to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
The Blues rescued a point at Sunderland on Sunday with a last-gasp equaliser, which denied them the chance of drawing level with fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
A trip to Fulham is next up on Sunday afternoon, and Mancini has warned his players that they can’t afford many more slip-ups if they are to play UEFA Champions League football next term.
“I feel it was two points lost (at Sunderland),” he said. "We have to continue on Sunday like we did in the second half. Maybe if we had taken our chances we would have won the game."
