Edin Dzeko would love to line up with Luka Modric at Manchester City Football Club.

Croatian international Modric is rated as one of the best playmakers in the Premier League, following his arrival at Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2008.

Roberto Mancini is said to be amongst the admirers of the 26-year-old, and current Blues striker Dzeko would love it if a deal could be thrashed out when the window reopens.

"Everyone is after him, but I would love it if he came to City. He would be a great addition,” he told the Sun. “I am cheering for him to choose City."
