Reports in Italy claim Manchester City know how much it will cost to land Edinson Cavani.

The Uruguayan international is one of the hottest strikers in world football, and is being tipped to leave Napoli if they fail to secure UEFA Champions League football.

With the futures of Edin Dzeko and, of course, Carlos Tevez up in the air, Roberto Mancini is thought to have made Cavani his top target for the summer.

And reports in Italy the Blues have already been in touch with the Serie A club, and were told they would need to pay £40million to land the 24-year-old.
