Edwin van der Sar is delighted to be back in action for Manchester United Football Club.

Injury ruled the Dutch international goalkeeper out of action earlier in the season, whilst in November he was given compassionate leave after his wife suffered a brain haemorrhage.

Van der Sar has now returned to the Reds line-up as the business end of the season approaches, and he is pleased to be back in the hunt for silverware.

"It feels really good to be back playing," he told United Review.

"It has been a stop-start season for me and you miss your weekly routine of training and games. But it feels great to be back in the swing of things and playing for United again."
