Carlo Ancelotti insists Chelsea Football Club can still win the Premier League.

The Blues were held to a 1-1 draw at Blackburn Rovers on Sunday, on the same day Manchester United returned to the top of the table having beaten Liverpool 2-1 at Old Trafford.

With Arsenal also winning this weekend, Ancelotti’s side are now third in the league, and if they beat Portsmouth in midweek they will still be a point behind United with seven games to go.

"Now is a difficult moment, but we do not have to lose our confidence," the Italian told Sky Sports. "We are behind now and have to catch up, but I think we can still do it.

"The pressure was already on us as we needed to win, but we did not. It is more difficult now, but we have to think about the game on Wednesday [at Portsmouth] and have to come back to win."
