Mido eyes immediate West Ham United run
03:00 PM 03 February, 2010
Mido insists he is ready to make an immediate impact at West Ham United Football Club.

The Egyptian striker was a shock deadline day signing for Gianfranco Zola’s side, who have taken him from Middlesbrough on loan for the rest of the season.

Mido is looking forward to playing his part in helping the Hammers beat off the threat of relegation, and insists he is ready to debut at Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

“I am very happy to be here,” he told whufc.com. “It is a great club and I am sure that I will do well. Hopefully I can prove myself and stay here for longer.

“I am really looking forward to working with the gaffer and the lads. West Ham have a great team and manager, and that was a big factor in deciding to come here.

“I know the fans are passionate. We have got everything you need to get in the top ten and I hope to play my part. I am fit to play this weekend.”

We are giving you benefit of the doubt. For goodness sake please shape up and keep out of trouble. This is it Mido. The very last chance. You either make what you can of it, or end up going back into obscurity. Oh, and lay off the pies.
