Middlesbrough manager Gordon Strachan has completed the signing of Scottish striker Kris Boyd on a free transfer.
The Scottish Premier League's all-time top-scorer passed a medical over the weekend and has now penned his contract, joining the ex-Celtic boss on Teesside.
Boro have revealed that Boyd has signed a two-year deal at the Riverside.
The 26-year-old is Boro's second signing of the summer, joining Livingston's Andrew Halliday in the North East.
Boro are also hoping to finalise the capture of Charlton captain Nicky Bailey in the next 24 hours.
