Middlesbrough Football Club are interested in Emmanuel Ledesma.

Tony Mowbray’s side still have a chance of earning a place in the playoffs this season, but if they miss out, they will be determined to progress next term.

The Boro boss is already thought to be preparing a shortlist of targets ahead of the window reopens, and skysports.com claim Ledesma is wanted.

The 23-year-old Argentine is currently in his second spell at League One side Walsall, but Mowbray hopes to lure him to Teesside in the summer.
