Dons swoop for former Wolverhampton Wanderers winger
Milton Keynes Dons Football Club have swooped to land Lewis Gobern on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old winger was released by Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of last season, and he is delighted to pen a one-year deal with the League One club.
"When I heard that Paul Ince was taking charge and the chairman's ambition, I knew I would be joining a club that would be pushing for promotion,” Gobern told Dons World.
“I want to push my career on and I feel like this is the place to make that happen. I hope to bring some excitement, a bit of creativity and a few goals.
“But the main thing is for me to help this club get promoted. It's a club built for the Championship at the very least and I think that's achievable."
