Morecambe manager Sammy McIlroy has made a new front-man the focus of his transfer search.

He said, "I'm scouring the country for a striker and I've made some good progress.

"While a forward is a priority – I want to sign three other players in different positions.

"Like any manager in this league, I'm working to a budget. But I've been working night and day to bring the right people in and if I can I will."
