Stuart Gray has been running the rule over former Arsenal youngster Paul Rodgers during pre-season.

Gray told BBC Radio Northampton: "Paul's training very well but I need to see him in game situations as well."

Doubts over fitness however have seen Liam Dolman leave Sixfields.
