Matt Ritchie is a target for Notts County Football Club.

The League Two club stunned the footballing world by taking Sol Campbell on a free transfer last week, and now they want the 19-year-old winger to follow the veteran from Portsmouth.

"I'm hoping to bring a couple of players in by deadline day and if not it will be loan signings," said manager Ian McParland. "We're chasing Matt Ritchie who is a good little player.”

Ritchie has yet to make a first team appearance for Pompey, but he enjoyed a loan spell at Dagenham & Redbridge last season when he caught the attention of County.
