Ipswich Town could move for Campbell
Roy Keane admits Ipswich Town could move for Sol Campbell in January.
The former England captain will be available on a free transfer in the New Year, after leaving Notts County after playing just one game for the League Two club.
Keane, currently struggling to make his mark at Portman Road, has revealed the veteran defender could be an option for his Championship side in January.
“I’m sure Sol, if he can play because I don’t know the situation with his contract, will have plenty of options because he is a good player. We’ll see,” he told the Irish Independent.
“It would be a long shot, no doubt. I think Sol has had a lot of criticism over the last few days but I admire people who make a decision.”
