Sol Campbell could be offered a chance to resurrect his career at West Ham United.

The former England defender will be available on a free transfer in January after leaving Notts County, following a brief spell with the League Two club.

Gianfranco Zola admits he would consider adding Campbell to his squad at Upton Park, if he is in the market for an experienced centre-half in the New Year.

"It would depend on whether you needed him, but he's a good player with experience and has everything," he said. "If I was in need of an experienced player, I would think of him."
