Keith Curle is being lined up by Notts County Football Club.

The League One club sacked manager Martin Allen on Saturday afternoon, just house after a 3-0 defeat by Hartlepool United left them in eleventh position in the league.

According to Sky Sports, the Meadow Lane club have now set their sights on appointing former England international Curle, who has been out of work since leaving Queens Park Rangers in January.

The 48-year-old, who has previously been in charge of Mansfield Town, Chester City and Torquay United, and is eager to return to management this season.
