Lloyd Sam hopes to help Notts County Football Club to promotion this season.

Keith Curle has led the Magpies to the playoff positions since succeeding Martin Allen recently, and optimism is high they can secure a place in the Championship.

Winger Sam has been brought in from Leeds United on loan for the rest of the campaign, and he insists he can play a part in helping County achieve their aim.

"I'm really excited about joining Notts because they are in the play-offs and they are in great form at the moment, winning almost every game," he told the Nottingham Evening Post.

"There is so much to play for and I really hope I can help Notts win promotion. Everyone wants to be involved in some success in their career and it would be great if we did it."
