Birmingham City are reportedly preparing a £600,000 bid for Chris Taylor with the Latics facing up to another season in League One.

Long linked with a move to the Championship, Taylor could find himself playing in the top-flight next year if Blues follow up their interest.

The 22-year-old, who has notched up over 150 appearances for Oldham, scored 11 goals in the season just ended.
