Dons sign Easter
04:00 PM 14 July, 2009
Striker Jermaine Easter has left Plymouth Argyle to sign for MK Dons for an undisclosed fee.

27-year old Easter has signed a two-year contract at Stadium:mk after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.

He is the club's fifth summer signing following the arrivals of Dan Woodards, Jabo Ibehre, David McCracken and Stephen Gleeson.

After starting in the youth side at Wolves, he went on to play for Hartlepool, Cambridge, Boston, Stockport and then Wycombe. He originally moved on loan to Home Park, but mustered just six goals in 37 appearances for the club.

The Wales international had loan spells at Millwall and Colchester last season.

"It feels great to be here, when you get the feeling for somewhere, like I have here, it's really exciting," Easter told the club's official website.

"I remember watching Paul Ince's Manchester United team as a kid and I really looked up to him so I can't wait to start working with him.

"I've come here for promotion, it's as simple as that. That's what we should be targeting as a team and I'll be giving my all to help the team achieve that."
