Joe Anyon suffered a fractured tibia during Saturday's 2-1 loss to Chesterfield.

Vale physio John Bower told BBC Radio Stoke, "Definitely the season's over for him. Realistically, he's looking at about four months out."

The 22-year old underwent surgery on Sunday after sustaining the fracture in a collision with Chesterfield's Drew Talbot.
