Portsmouth Football Club have lined up a deal for Ricardo Rocha.

The former Tottenham Hotspur defender is available on a free transfer, having been released by Belgian side Standard Liege over the weekend.

It is believed the Portuguese ace is now in talks with Pompey, as Avram Grant looks to fill the void left by Younes Kaboul’s departure to White Hart Lane.

Rocha, 31, spent two years with Spurs from 2007 to 2009, but he made just fourteen Premier League appearances during this time.
