Storrie resigns his Portsmouth post
Peter Storrie has resigned as chief executive of Portsmouth Football Club.
Storrie was expected to remain in his position until the club found a new buyer, but he has decided to step down now although he will remain at Fratton Park in a consultancy role.
"After talks with his family and friends, Peter Storrie decided it is in the best interests of the club for him to leave his full-time employment," read a statement released on the club's official website.
"The administrators would like to thank Mr Storrie for his undivided assistance and support over the past few weeks.
"Mr Storrie has pledged to continue to assist the club and the administrators on a range of matters, including the sale of the club, the FA Cup semi-final arrangements and other projects and will be remunerated accordingly."
