The agent of Nadir Belhadj has welcomed interest in the fullback from Roma.

Widespread reports in Italy claim the Giallorossi will make a bid to take the Algerian in the summer, when it is certain he will be offloaded by Portsmouth.

“It would certainly be an interested solution,” Mark Pomorin told forzaroma.info. “Roma are a great team. The Italian adventure is something he has always wanted to try.”

Belhadj, who has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona in the past, would cost around £3million, a figure well within Claudio Ranieri’s budget.
