Forward makes Portsmouth pledge
10:30 AM 18 June, 2012
Erik Huseklepp insists he won’t walk out on Portsmouth Football Club.

The Norway international joined Pompey last summer in a £1.9million deal, and made a big impact before the club fell into administration and he was loaned to Birmingham City.

Pompey’s relegation to League One has sparked speculation Huseklepp could be sold ahead of next season, but the 27-year-old insists he won’t be asking to leave.

“I don't regret coming to Portsmouth,” he told The News. "As things stand, I still plan to enjoy my time here because I will be back for next season.

"I'm still under contract. It says two more years, so I have to stick to that unless something else happens. You never know but I'm sticking to my contract as things stand."
