Erik Huseklepp has sealed his transfer from Portsmouth.
The cash strapped Fratton Park club were always likely to lose several of their star players this season, due to their financial situation and relegation to League One.
And Huseklepp has now completed a return to his former club SK Brann, having agreed a four-and-a-half year contract with the Norwegian club.
“Erik was a regular in the side before the situation changed dramatically here and he had to go out on loan,” Pompey boss Michael Appleton told the official club site.
"I think Erik feels going back to play in Norway will be best for his international career and we wish him all the best."
