Midfielder eyes Manchester United future
Matty James wants a future at Manchester United Football Club.
The 18-year-old midfielder has left the Reds reserves for a stint in the first team at Championship side Preston North End, managed by Darren Ferguson.
James will see the rest of the season out at Deepdale, but he has made it clear that his ultimate goal is to have a future at Old Trafford under Sir Alex Ferguson.
“It’s a massive step (the move to Preston) but I am ready for it and the manager and management at Old Trafford feel that I am ready for it as well,” he said.
“I am just looking to impress everyone at Manchester United and we will take it from there. It’s just been brilliant for me getting the chance to come here.”
