Graham Westley is sure Preston North End are impressing their League One rivals.

The Deepdale manager promised big changes at the Lancashire club at the end of last season, and he has been as good as his word in the weeks since.

Westley has offered 14 players and made another seven available for transfer, whilst there will be at least 12 new arrivals when the window officially opens on 1 July.

And the North End manager is convinced that his business so far has made his League One rivals sit up and take notice ahead of the new season.

“We’ve got balance and great experience in the squad. There are all sorts of ingredients that you need,” Westley told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"If you were to talk to people around League One, most people are looking at Preston and believing that we're making a lot of the right moves.”
