Shrewsbury Town have agreed a deal to sign Paul Parry.

The 31-year-old became a free agent this summer, after failing to agree a new contract with Lancashire side Preston North End.

It now appears as though Parry will still be plying his trade in League One next term though, albeit with Graham Turner’s Shrewsbury.

The two have worked together before for Hereford United, and the player will also be reunited with former Preston pals Shane Cansdell-Sherriff and Nicky Wroe.
