Watford Football Club are set to re-sign their former striker Heidar Helguson.
The 32-year-old is currently contracted to Queens Park Rangers, but manager Jim Magilton is prepared to let him leave ahead of the transfer deadline.
Helguson, who spent six years at Vicarage Road following a transfer from Lillestrom in 1999, is a target for Middlesbrough who are desperate to add to their attacking options.
However, Sky Sports claim the Hornets are on the verge of agreeing a deal for the Icelandic international, who could return to the club on loan.
