Rangers take Wigan Athletic midfielder on loan
03:39 PM 01 September, 2009
Queens Park Rangers Football Club have taken Ben Watson on loan.

The Wigan Athletic midfielder will spend the next four months at Loftus Road with the view to a permanent deal, much to the delight of R’s manager Jim Magilton.

“There were a lot of other big, big clubs in for him, but Gianni Paladini and the board have pulled out all the stops, so I'm delighted," Magilton told the club's official website.

"Ben will prove to be a fantastic addition. He's got a proven track record in this division, and I'm just delighted. He's a box-to-box midfielder, who scores goals and puts his boot in.”
