Hughes confident of QPR survival
06:30 PM 20 March, 2012
Mark Hughes remains confident Queens Park Rangers will avoid relegation.

The Welshman was installed as Neil Warnock’s successor at Loftus Road in January, but he has failed to lift the Londoners clear of the drop zone in the Premier League.

QPR now have ten matches to ensure they do not make an instant return to the Championship, and Hughes is confident they will gain enough points.

"It's been frustrating," he said. "But we're still very, very confident that we have enough ability to make sure that we're still in the Premier League next year.

"If we perform as we know we can, at our maximum, and we get that element of luck that you have to have to be successful then we'll be fine.”
