Ian Black admits he is unsure if he can join Rangers Football Club.

The 27-year-old is available on a free transfer this summer, following the expiry of his contract at Hearts, and the Gers are keen on signing him.

However, there remains uncertainty over the financially-troubled Ibrox club and if they are able to sign players, which means Black is somewhat in limbo-land.

"It's flattering to be linked with Rangers, I'm not sure what's happening with the rules and if they're allowed to sign players or not,” the midfielder told the Daily Record.

"It's flattering and if they are allowed to sign players and they're keen, I would love to sit down and listen to what they have to say. I'm still waiting for a concrete offer.”
