Kevin Doyle has been linked with a move to Sunderland Football Club.

The Republic of Ireland international is widely tipped to leave Reading this summer, following the Royals failure to clinch promotion to the Premier League last season.

Doyle, 25, has a release clause of £6.5million in his contract, and the Black Cats are prepared to fight Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers for his signature.
