Adam Federici insists he has no interest in joining Liverpool Football Club.

The Australian goalkeeper played his part in knocking the Reds out of the FA Cup earlier this month, and he has now been linked with a switch to Anfield.

However, as Jose Reina is well established as Rafael Benitez’s number one choice, the Reading star is reluctant to leave the Madejski Stadium to sit on the bench.

“I have worked so hard to be number one, why would I want to go up there, sit on the bench and start over?” the 24-year-old told the Evening Post.
