Grzegorz Rasiak has left Reading Football Club on a free transfer.

The 31-year-old striker scored ten goals in thirty outings for the Royals, but he has failed to command a regular place under Brian McDermott and has now joined AEL Limassol on a free.

"With the emergence of our young strikers and the return of Noel Hunt, Grzegorz's chances of playing were going to be limited,” director of football Nick Hammond told the official club site.

"He is at an age where he wants to play regular football, he is fairly expensive for us and therefore this is a deal that I am happy with. It allows him to play and so it suits all parties.”
