Reading have sold Gylfi Sigurdsson to Hoffenheim for around £6m.

The 20-year-old midfielder from Iceland, who notched 20 goals for Reading last season, has signed a four-year deal with the German club.

"Sigurdsson has a great ability to score from midfield and we still see in him huge potential to develop further," said team manager Ernst Tanner.
