Kieran Richardson is a £2million target for Reading Football Club.

Brian McDermott’s side are celebrating this week, after they clinched a return to the Premier League on Tuesday following a four-year absence.

The Royals boss will be given cash to spend to ensure they remain in the elite, and the Daily Mail claims he has set his sights on Richardson.

The former Manchester United star, who can play at left-back or in midfield, is currently at Sunderland, but McDermott hopes to take him for £2million.
