Manchester City Football Club have set their sights on Gonzalo Higuain and Fernando Gago.

Roberto Mancini tried to sign midfielder Gago in the winter transfer window, but he left his interest too late and couldn’t strike a deal ahead of the deadline.

Striker Higuain is enjoying a fine season but was criticised heavily as Los Blancos crashed out of the UEFA Champions League, and he is also at loggerheads over a new contract.

According to Marca, City will offer Real €50million to take the Argentine duo off their hands in the summer, as they look to make a telling bid for the Premier League title next season.
