Joe Murphy will be at Glanford Park next season after penning a new one-year deal.

The Republic of Ireland international has the option of a second season with Scunthorpe should they remain in the Championship.

Murphy has been the subject of intense transfer speculation but is understood to have turned down numerous offers to remain with the Iron.
