Garry Thompson believes Bradford City are a sleeping giant of English football.

The 31-year-old has linked up with Phil Parkinson’s League Two side, and the former Scunthorpe United man claims they are currently in a false division.

"When I met the manager I was won over by his ambitions for next season and his passion for what he wants to achieve here,” Thompson told the club website.

"I know that people don't like to use the term 'sleeping giant' too often, but this place really is. This club should be higher than where it is situated now.”
