Wigan Athletic Football Club are in no rush to sell Erik Edman or Daniel de Ridder.

Dutch winger De Ridder has been linked with a move to Israel outfit Hapoel Tel-Aviv, and he is keen to clinch the move to gain regular first team football.

Fullback Edman is a target for Championship side Sheffield United, but Roberto Martinez has told the Wigan Evening Post he is under no pressure to offload either player.

"There has been interest in Daniel and Erik, but obviously it has to be the right thing for both the player and the football club,” he said. "I'm sure that there will be movement before the deadline.”
