Owls striker Marcus Tudgay is being linked with a move to join the Premier League newcomers.

The 26-year-old has become a key figure at Hillsborough since making a permanent move from Derby County in January 2006.

He netted 14 goals last season and will no doubt have impressed Burnley boss Owen Coyle at close quarters when netting doubles against the Clarets as they suffered two heavy defeats at the hands of Brian Laws' side.

Laws however is in no mood to lose his best players as he plots a push for the play-offs in S6.
