Wednesday striker wants Burnley transfer
Marcus Tudgay is keen on a move to Burnley Football Club this summer.
The striker has been the subject of a failed bid from the Premier League side, and his agent admits a new deal with Sheffield Wednesday is on hold due to the Clarets interest.
"At this moment in time Marcus does not want to sign a new deal at Sheffield Wednesday as he is keen on a move to Burnley," Daryl Powell told skysports.com.
"It is nothing against Sheffield Wednesday as Marcus has been there three years and he has really enjoyed it, but it is about ambition and getting the chance to play at the highest level.
"It is between the two clubs and we hope something can be agreed to give Marcus the chance to play in the Premier League."
