Owls unlikely to succeed with audacious Liverpool bid

Liverpool Football Club are unlikely to sanction a loan exit for David N’Gog.

Reports at the weekend suggested Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are keen to take the young French striker to Hillsborough on loan for the season.

N’Gog is on the fringes of the Reds firs team having made 14 Premier League appearances since his arrival last summer, but he was not in the squad for the 2-1 loss at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

However, Rafael Benitez has few attacking options at Anfield, so unless he makes a signing before the end of the transfer window, the 20-year-old is unlikely to leave Merseyside.
