Glenn Loovens could be heading to Sheffield Wednesday this summer.

The Dutch defender will be a free agent at the end of the season when his contract at Celtic expires, as it looks unlikely he will offered fresh terms.

Loovens has made just fourteen appearances for the Scottish champions this season, and he is now thought to be keen on a fresh challenge next season.

Reports suggest he could get just that at League One promotion hopefuls Wednesday, who are preparing an offer to lure the 28-year-old to Hillsborough.
