Steve Tilson was happy enough with a point at Oldham Athletic on Satuday and had plenty of praise for the Shrimpers' travelling fans.

He told the club's official website: "It was an important result as it stops Oldham finishing above us in the table."

Tilson added: "I thought the fans were superb throughout the 90 minutes and I can't praise them enough."
