Dan Harding is being linked with a summer move to join the Shrimpers.

The 25-year-old left-back, tipped to be released by new Ipswich manager Roy Keane, impressed on loan with Southend in the first-half of the season.

He ended the campaign on loan at Reading but their play-off defeat and the departure of boss Steve Coppell looks to have ended any prospect of a permanent move to the Madejski Stadium.
