Simon Grayson has urged his players to keep up the hard work against Southend United on Tuesday.
"We've got something going here and we've had a decent start since I took over but we've achieved nothing," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post after wins over Brighton and Peterborough.
"It's what happens in May that counts and where we finish in the division.
"Hopefully that's within the top six - preferably at the top end of that top six - and everybody's delighted with the way things are going.
"But football kicks you in the backside if you get complacent and that's something I won't do or let my players do. You can soon fall from a great height. We've got to remain level-headed.
"If we step anything below the mark we set against Peterborough United then we won't get the result we want. The players are aware of what we need to do because this is another tough test for us."
