Bristol Rovers have signed defender Danny Senda on non-contract terms.
Senda told BBC Radio Bristol: "I've had a difficult year and to get back into the game with a club like Rovers is fantastic."
"Essentially he's a right back," said Rovers boss Dave Penney.
"We are letting too many crosses into our box and when they do come in we don't deal with them so if we can stop it at source that makes it a little bit easier for the centre halves.
"We want to get really tight at the back and two different voices in defensive situations will help us out.
"Danny is trying to earn a contract here or elsewhere and it gives a freshness to the squad."
