Reading attacking midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has joined German club Hoffenheim for a fee of around £6m.
The 20-year-old from Iceland, who scored 20 goals for Reading last season, has signed a four-year deal.
"Sigurdsson has a great ability to score from midfield and we still see in him huge potential to develop further," said team manager Ernst Tanner.
